The simplest method of getting your access token is through the OAuth 2. It’s a highly useful feature that many people seem to overlook. In the next few blog entries, I’m going to demonstrate how to integrated Microsoft Access and Quickbooks. You can access your client’s books right from QuickBooks Online Accountant.

To access the tool, sign in with an External Accountant user name and select Client Data Review from the Company menu. Use your app’s Client ID and Client Secret from your developers account. Learn how to add or remove your accountant in QuickBooks Online.
